Community Action Drug Prevention Network (C.A.D.P.N.) C.A.D.P.N. was formed in March 2004 with support from the Community Action Agency and Salem-Keizer Together. More than 155+ members / partners actively collaborate with the Network to help reduce the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in our community. Partners include: Salem-Keizer School District, public and private agencies, businesses, local and state government, state agencies, law enforcement, faith community, public health, treatment providers, neighborhood associations, community progress teams, other community organizations and citizens. The Network embraces universal,
selective and targeted prevention principles when building community prevention
activities and regularly seeks community input on all initiatives. The
coalition's Advisory Board has 13 active members including: Salem Hospital,
Keizer Chamber, McNary High School, Marion County Sheriff's Office, Washington

(Sales of Tobacco to Minors Prohibited) Promoted through broad community support, S.T.O.M.P. works to reduce the sale of tobacco to minors through mystery shopping by youth volunteers age 14-17. Reminder or Reward certificates are handed out to vendors by the volunteers. |
