Community Resource Program
 
CRP provides a variety of services designed to help low-income and homeless persons achieve stable housing and increase their self-sufficiency.
Services include:
 

Community Action Resource Centers - offer emergency financial assistance,

information and referral, classes, support groups, and social activities tailored to meet the needs of their respective community. Centers are located in Dallas (503) 623-8429, Stayton (503) 769-3173, and Woodburn (503) 982-8212.
 
The Housing Stabilization Program - provides case management and financial assistance to homeless families and those families at risk of becoming homeless.

The Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program in Polk County - provides rental assistance to very low-income families for a twelve-month period, with case management services. (503) 623-8429
 
The Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program in Marion County and City of Salem - provides rental assistance and case management for a twelve-month period to people who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless. Focus is on serving those who have a criminal history that makes them ineligible for section 8 housing. (503) 399-9080
 
ARCHES Transitional Housing Program – provides rental assistance, case management, and housing placement assistance to individuals and families who are homeless in Marion and Polk Counties. ARCHES Day Center – a centralized drop-in and referral center that serves homeless individuals and families in Marion and Polk Counties. The Day Center provides a safe and comfortable environment, showers, hygiene supplies, sack lunches, laundry facilities, computer access, telephone access, a mailing address, and information about community resources. 1164 Madison St NE Salem, OR 97306 Ph: (503) 399-9080
 
R.E.N.T. Tenant Education Program - a program designed to assist individuals and families who are homeless and encountering barriers to accessing housing due to poor rental histories or poor credit. The curriculum is designed to teach participants the skills necessary to be successful tenants. (503) 399-9080

  

The Community Resource Program helps coordinate the activities of area housing and housing service providers through facilitation of the Mid Valley Housing and Services Collaborative. The Collaborative meets monthly to discuss housing issues, helps plan and develop area housing services, and is the steering committee for the Continuum of Care grant process. (503) 585-6232
